The product:
We don't understand why each tablespoon of baking powder has to be individually packed and then wrapped in plastic. So if you're a passionate home baker or just bake a cake every now and then, get your dose of baking powder plastic free!
This is ordinary baking powder, consisting of the raising agent E500 (sodium carbonate), the acidifier E450 (diphosphates) and corn starch.
The packet of baking powder that you usually get in the supermarket contains 15 g, which equals exactly one tablespoon.
The price:
The kilo costs 2.34 € including VAT. In order to offer a fair price, we calculate with labor costs of €15.00/hour. For filling and sealing with an adhesive strip that shows the best-before date two minutes should suffice, so you will be charged a one-time fee of 0.50€.
Baking powder
The product will be filled into a mason jar provided by you when you pick it up on site. If you don't have a jar in the right size and want one from stock, you can find it as a separate item in the shop.
If you are not from Berlin and would like to have the ingredient sent, then the same applies. The shipping costs are made up of the usual DHL fees and the working time required to pack and ship the goods.
